Instructions

  1. Crack 3 to 4 large eggs into a mixing bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of whole milk or half-and-half and a pinch of salt. Whisk thoroughly with a fork or whisk until yolks and whites are fully combined and the mixture is slightly frothy, about 30 seconds.
  2. Place a non-stick skillet over low to medium-low heat. Add 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter and let it melt gently, swirling the pan to coat evenly. Butter should foam slightly but not brown, about 1 to 2 minutes.
