A fuss-free, crowd-pleasing charcuterie board perfect for football game nights or casual gatherings, featuring a balanced mix of meats, cheeses, dips, crackers, and fresh accompaniments.

Ingredients

  • Thinly sliced salami (Fennel Salami recommended)
  • Prosciutto or thin ham slices
  • Spicy chorizo or pepperoni slices
  • Sharp cheddar, cubed or sliced
  • Soft brie or camembert
  • Crumbly blue cheese (optional)
  • Honey mustard dip (¼ cup Dijon mustard, 2 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp mayonnaise)
  • Spicy pepper jelly (store-bought or homemade)
  • Herb cream cheese spread (½ cup softened cream cheese, 1 tbsp chopped chives, 1 tbsp parsley, squeeze of lemon juice)
  • Assorted crackers (multigrain, water crackers, or sesame seed)
  • French baguette slices, toasted
  • Mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
  • Fresh grapes or sliced apples
  • Olives (green or black, pitted)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dips by whisking together honey mustard dip ingredients, blending herb cream cheese spread ingredients, and scooping pepper jelly into a ramekin. Set aside.
  2. Slice salami, prosciutto, and chorizo into bite-sized pieces or strips. Cube cheddar, cut brie into wedges, and crumble blue cheese if using. Arrange cheeses separately on the board.
  3. Arrange assorted crackers in small piles around the board. Slice baguette into ¼-inch rounds and toast at 350°F for 5-7 minutes until golden and crisp. Let cool.
  4. Place dips in small bowls spaced evenly on the board. Arrange meats in loose folds or rolls near dips. Position cheeses strategically. Fill gaps with crackers, bread slices, nuts, olives, and fresh fruit, balancing colors and textures.
  5. Add small serving utensils for dips and toothpicks for olives or meats if desired. Keep napkins handy.

Notes

Use room temperature cheeses for best flavor. Toast bread just before serving for crunch. Label dips if serving picky eaters. Store crackers separately to avoid sogginess. Pre-sliced meats and cheeses can save time. Adapt with plant-based deli slices or dairy-free cream cheese for vegan options.
